The Stefan Żeromski Museum in Nałęczów – is another biographical-literary museum, a branch of the Lublin Museum in Nałęczów dedicated to another great artist, namely Stefan Żeromski. The small cottage, surrounded by a garden with impressive old trees, was built from the honorarium received for “Ashes”. It was designed, similarly to the Ochronka, by Jan Koszyc-Witkiewicz. Today's museum exists thanks to Żeromski's wife, Oktawia Żeromska, who bequeathed the writer's summer studio along with the garden and the Mausoleum located on its grounds to the Polish nation for the purpose of a museum facility. Next to the house is the already mentioned resting place of the prematurely deceased son of the Żeromskis, Adam Żeromski. It is one of the most beautiful Mausoleums in Poland.
