The gardens have been a passion of the owners of Lavender Hill for many years. In 2014, they started looking for a variety of lavender that would do well in our climate but also look stunning. This is how their adventure with the intermediate lavender variety Platinum Nico began. In the spring of 2015, they prepared the field for planting, and by the end of May, 5000 lavender seedlings were planted in the field. In this way, they started the story of Lavender Hill, a lavender plantation located in the picturesque region of the Bystrzyca Valley.
Today, about 16,000 plants grow on the lavender hill. It is mostly intermediate lavender in two varieties: Platinum Nico and Sensational. The owners process it in many ways. During the season, you can buy fresh and dried flowers from them. In the distillation process, we obtain lavender essential oil and hydrolate. Based on their own materials, lavender cosmetics are created. The obtained lavender dry has a very intense fragrance. The owners - Magda and Mikołaj are also engaged in handicrafts, making wreaths and soy plaques. They also have a small nursery of lavender seedlings.
In 2021, they opened a new plantation shop and distillery.
