Lavender Hill – a fragrant oasis in the Bystrzyca Valley
Lavender Hill is a picturesque lavender plantation located in the heart of the Bystrzyca Valley, in the village Kiełczewice Dolne 77, about 30 km from the Arche Nałęczów hotel (approx. 35 minutes by car). Surrounded by the idyllic landscape of Lublin region, the plantation covers two hectares full of fragrant lavender and is an excellent place for relaxation, photo sessions or purchasing natural products.

The gardens have been a passion of the owners of Lavender Hill for many years. In 2014, they began searching for a lavender variety that would thrive in our climate but also look stunning. That marked the start of their adventure with the intermediate lavender Platinum Nico. In spring 2015, they prepared the field for planting, and at the end of May, 5000 lavender seedlings were planted. Thus, the history of Lavender Hill began, a lavender plantation located in the picturesque Bystrzyca Valley region.
Today, approximately 16,000 plants grow on Lavender Hill. Most of them are intermediate lavender in two varieties: Platinum Nico and Sensational. The owners process it in many ways. During the season, fresh and dried flowers can be purchased. During distillation, lavender essential oil and hydrosol are obtained. Lavender cosmetics are made based on their own raw materials. The harvested lavender dry material has a very intense aroma. The owners - Magda and Mikołaj - also engage in handicrafts, making wreaths and soy plaques. They also have a small lavender seedling nursery.
In 2021, they opened a new plantation shop and distillery.
