In Nałęczów, various Balloon Competitions have been held for many years. This unusual sporting activity has been embraced by people for whom promoting balloon sports in Poland and abroad through organizing and participating in sports events has become a mission and a challenge. Balloon competitions, balloon fiestas, and shows have been taking place since 1994. The most important of these are: the Polish Championships held in Lublin (1994); competitions in Nałęczów, organized regularly since 2006, where in 2007 and from 2012 to 2017, they were of the Polish Championships rank, and in 2018, of the Women's World Championships rank; Polish Championships in Krosno (2003 and 2004).
