Outside, the frost nipped at the cheeks, and the winter Nałęczów was bathed in cool January air. Meanwhile, inside the walls of Arche Nałęczów, a completely different atmosphere prevailed – full of color, mystery, and emotions reminiscent of Venetian Italy.

On the afternoon of Sunday, January 11, 2026, the Healing Hall at Arche Nałęczów became a space for meeting art and photography. This was thanks to the vernissage of the "Carnevale di Venezia" exhibition, which attracted guests eager for aesthetic experiences and artistic conversations.

From the very first moments, attention was drawn by the photographs – rich in colors, full of details and symbolism. Masks, rich fabrics, gazes hidden behind decorative forms, and the light that brought out extraordinary depth in the frames, transported visitors right into the heart of the Venetian carnival. The exhibition allowed for a momentary escape from the winter weather and immersion in a world where mystery and emotions are as important as form.

The author of the presented works is Grażyna Hankiewicz – an art teacher and photography enthusiast whose work has been exhibited both in Poland and abroad for years. During the vernissage, the artist willingly talked about the behind-the-scenes of the photoshoot, inspirations, and how important details and fleeting moments lasting just a second, yet capable of staying in memory for a long time, are in her work.

The meeting had an intimate and at the same time very warm character. Guests paused at individual photographs, exchanged impressions, asked questions, and shared their own associations. The vernissage became not only a presentation of the exhibition but above all a space for conversation and shared experience of art.

"Carnevale di Venezia" is an exhibition that does not tell directly – rather it invites interpretation, careful observation, and discovering the emotions hidden behind the mask. It is this ambiguity that made many guests return to selected frames several times, each time noticing something new.

The vernissage at Arche Nałęczów proved that art has an extraordinary power to warm up winter days. While frost ruled outside, inside reigned colors, light, and a Venetian atmosphere that will remain in the memories of the participants of this unique afternoon for a long time.

We thank all the guests for their presence, conversations, and the time spent together – and those who could not be with us that day are invited to visit the exhibition and immerse themselves in the world of the Venetian carnival.
