Nałęczów – The City of Love and Health
Nałęczów is the only spa town in Poland specializing in the treatment of heart diseases. The town is picturesquely located within the Kazimierz Landscape Park, among loess ravines and gentle hills. In autumn, it dazzles with colors – the golden-red leaves of old lindens, chestnuts, and oaks create a fairy-tale scenery. The drive from Warsaw takes about 1.5 hours by car – most conveniently via the Warsaw-Lublin route (expressway S17). You can also choose to travel by train to Nałęczów (please note the PKP station is about 3 km away from Arche Nałęczów. It is worth ordering a taxi).

3. Wedel Chocolate Bar and Mineral Water Drinking Room
Autumn is perfect for tastings – hot chocolate at the Wedel bar or waters from Nałęczów springs: “Barbara,” “Celiński,” and “Love” in the palm house are attractions that combine health and pleasure.
4. Chapel of St. Charles Borromeo
A wooden church in the Zakopane style, founded by Dr. Karol Benni's wife – Ludwika, with a meaningful inscription “The Power of Love” on the altar. A perfect place for a moment of reflection and shared thought.
5. Stefan Żeromski Museum and Adam Żeromski Mausoleum
An intimate museum with unique exhibits, created in the writer's studio – “Cottage,” allowing you to feel the spirit of the literary bohemia. It houses not only the history of literature but also love and the happy and dramatic stories of the Żeromski family.
6. Bolesław Prus Museum
The only museum in Poland dedicated to the author of “The Doll,” located since 2017 in a stylish building of the former children's shelter “Ochronka.” A perfect place to jointly discover the history of life and work of Nałęczów’s most faithful guest and admirer.
7. Retro Meleks – A Journey Through Time
A ride on a styled electric vehicle around Nałęczów and Wąwolnica with a licensed guide is a unique attraction. A shared journey through time – perfect for couples who like extraordinary trips.

Cafe “Ewelina” (16 Lipowa Street)
A legendary place created by Mrs. Ewelina Bartosiewicz – the “First Lady of Nałęczów,” located in the villa “Under the Virgin Mary,” where Bolesław Prus stayed from 1900 to 1910. The atmosphere here is truly magical – the interior is an art gallery. This is a cult café for artists and lovers of Nałęczów.
Recommended dish: warm cheesecake with raspberry sauce – a delicate, homemade, yet exceptionally romantic dessert to go with coffee.
Cafe Różana (8 Lipowa Street)
Located on the representative Lipowa Avenue, surrounded by old trees and a rose garden. The “Różana” villa is one of the most picturesque corners of Nałęczów. It is an ideal place for a quiet afternoon for two in the autumn atmosphere.
Recommended dish: homemade warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream and cinnamon sauce – an autumn classic that tastes best here.
Restaurant “Historic Cellars,” villa “Nagórze” (27 Lipowa Street)
An unusual place hidden in a green villa, open off-season on weekends. The restaurant amazes with its collection of lamps and art and a menu inspired by flavors of former health resort guests of Nałęczów. For connoisseurs – local craft beer “Chmiele Nałęczowskie.”
Recommended dish: beef goulash stewed in red wine with Silesian dumplings – aromatic, warming, and perfect for autumn evenings.
Nałęczów Chocolate House “Forget-Me-Not” (1 Leśna Street)
A paradise for chocolate lovers – from milk to dark, in various forms and versions. The cult “Forget-Me-Not” in a new version is an ideal address for a romantic break during an autumn walk.
Recommended dish: “Nałęczów Plum” cake – a combination of local flavors with chocolate, a unique dessert that has become a symbol of this place.
Cafe Bar “Oktawia” (12 Armatnia Góra Street)
From the historic villa “Oktawia,” once belonging to the parents of Oktawia Żeromska. It is an intimate place with a homely atmosphere. Perfect for an informal meal during an autumn hike.
Recommended dish: pizza with arugula and Parma ham – thin crust, fresh ingredients, simplicity, and flavor that make guests want to return.
Restaurant “PATATAJ” (15 Bochotnica Kolonia)
A restaurant known for its family atmosphere and homemade cuisine. It inspired the writer Katarzyna Gacek to create the crime novel “Accident? I Don't Think So.” The place also attracts art lovers and those seeking calm culinary experiences.
Recommended dish: roast duck with apples and red cabbage – a classic Polish dish that perfectly pairs with the autumn atmosphere and wine from local vineyards.
Restaurant “Retro” at Arche Nałęczów

The building that today houses Arche Nałęczów awaited completion for nearly 40 years because in 1992, the planned Militia Sanatorium construction in Nałęczów was stopped.
The Arche Group rescues monuments, giving a new life to ruined, “unwanted” buildings. Out of respect for the past, the name and the original form of the building were preserved, and the interiors are filled with art and details referring to the design of the 1980s.
